Abstract

In the era of digital and intelligent transformation, digital and intelligent technologies have been deeply integrated into the agricultural sector, serving as a core driving force behind the transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture and the acceleration of agricultural modernization. These technologies are enabling systematic intelligence-driven empowerment in agriculture, facilitating precise production management and control, and supporting collaborative operations among agricultural stakeholders, thereby profoundly reshaping agricultural production methods, organizational structures, and industrial ecosystems. An in-depth analysis of the mechanisms through which digital and intelligent technologies drive modernization reveals that their core logic lies in propelling an intelligent revolution in agricultural production tools-shifting them from mere extensions of physical labor to expansions of cognitive labor; these technologies have given rise to new production factors that are deeply integrating with traditional factors, driving agricultural growth toward a qualitative leap forward; furthermore, they have given rise to a new class of digital and intelligent agricultural laborers, redefining the roles and capabilities of farmers and providing strong momentum for accelerating the agricultural modernization transition.
