This study seeks to uncover the logic of how secondary creation in Chinese trend music empowers the consumer industry and demonstrate its successful route from content creation to IP value transformation. Using the literature research method, it reviews the related theories and current status of Chinese trend music, secondary creation and IP value transformation, and examines the successful cases and issues in specific practices through the case analysis method. The study reveals that secondary creation has greatly improved the innovation capacity of the industry in the content production of Chinese trend music by inspiring creativity, diversifying music styles and enriching content. In terms of communication, it has broadened the audience group and enhanced the communication effect through multi-platform communication. As for IP value transformation, it offers concrete directions for Chinese trend music based on secondary creation content, including IP incubation, cross-border cooperation and brand promotion. These insights offer valuable theoretical and practical insights for the sustainable growth of the Chinese trend music industry.
