This study investigates the impact mechanism of digital finance on commercial bank performance. By constructing a econometric model incorporating multidimensional indicators such as digital finance development level and bank performance, we employ panel data analysis to empirically examine multi-year operational data from multiple Chinese commercial banks. The findings demonstrate that digital finance exerts a significant motivational effect on bank performance. Furthermore, the research analyzes heterogeneous impacts across different types of banks and proposes corresponding policy recommendations.
